1949 Track Regional Champions
The Regional Track meet was held at Mt. Pleasant and for the second year in a row, Vestaburg took home the Class D Championship. Bob Throop and Gaylord Snyder both broke records in this meet.
The team was coached by Keats Wood and Roger Howard.

1950 Montcalm County Baseball Champions
The 1950 team ended up in third place in the MCAA league with a 5 and 2 record. The 2 losses were later forfeited due to ineligible players on both teams. The Championship game was between the South Division winner Stanton and Vestaburg the North Division Champs. The County Championship game was played at Sidney Memorial Park. Stanton went ahead 6-2 in the first inning but the Wolverines came back and won 16-7 to become Montcalm County Baseball Champions. The team was coached by Keats Wood.

1959 Montcalm County Baseball Champions
Nine lettermen returned to start the season of baseball victories this Spring, The boys were defeated only by Class B Lakeview, and on May 14th, won the County Baseball Championship. This was Vestaburg’s first baseball championship in nine years. Good work boys!
The team was coached by Roger VanderLaan, Manager Daniel Callison.
